Mallek appointed to Virginia Board of Workforce Development

ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va, (NEWSPLEX) -- An Albemarle County supervisor has been appointed to the Virginia Board of Workforce Development.

Governor Terry McAuliffe announced the appoint of Ann Mallek of Earlysville on Friday.

She represents the White hall District on the Albemarle County Board of Supervisors.

Mallek is also a farm operator at Currituck Farm and an educator at the Virginia Museum of Natural History.

She was elected to the board in 2008.

Mallek also works with several organizations, including Scenic Virginia, the Albemarle County Farm Bureau, the Monticello Artisan Trail and the Rivanna River Basin Commission.
