Members of Congress, Capitol Police Prep for Football Game

WASHINGTON (AP) -- Members of Congress and former NFL players will be teaming up against the U.S. Capitol Police for the biennial Congressional Football Game.

The game on Oct. 28 is being played at Watkins Recreation Field in Washington. Rep. Bob Dold, a Republican from Illinois, will be the Congressional team's quarterback. A total of 23 current members of Congress are on the roster. Former NFL players who are serving as coaches and players include Ken Harvey, John Booty, Gary Clark, Herschel Walker and Shawn Springs.

General admission tickets cost $10 and can be purchased in advance online. Proceeds from tickets will go to local charities including the Capitol Police Memorial Fund and Our Military Kids.
