CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (NEWSPLEX) -- Paula Newcomb has been been giving back to Charlottesville since 1993, but her mission is to help local children in need.
Newcomb is a supporter of the CASA Organization, which stand for Court Appointed Special Advocate. The group serves a voice for abused and neglected children who fall into the area's court system.
CASA recruits, trains and supervises volunteers. Those volunteers get to know a child, and then advocate on their behalf in court.
Newcomb spoke with Ravi Respeto about her work with CASA.
