Stalled trains throughout the area will soon be moving once again. Last Friday’s storm stalled five long freight trains on the Buckingham Branch railroad, including one in Ivy.
The railroad says more than 300 trees fell onto their tracks and they’ve all been cleaned up.
Freight company CSX has been working to fix its signals to get those trains moving. The railroad company says all trains should be off its property by Saturday afternoon.
