Four men will vie for the Republican Party's nomination to challenge Democratic Sen. Mark Warner in November's election.
The party reports four men have filed the paperwork before Saturday's 5 p.m. deadline to compete in the primary.
The candidates are former Republican National Committee chairman Ed Gillespie, congressional policy adviser Tony DeTora, retired Air Force pilot Shak Hill and businessman Chuck Moss.
The nominee will be chosen by a convention scheduled for June 7 in Roanoke.
