NELSON COUNTY, VA (NEWSPLEX) -- A Nelson County company is getting ready to break ground on a large ammunitions and firearms warehouse.

Officials with Zenith Quest say they got approval from the county planning commission on a site plan, which cleared the way for work to begin on the project.

The groundbreaking is set for Saturday.

The warehouse will employ 30 people and will house weapons imported from Turkey.

Company officials say construction will take several months and they expect the warehouse to open early next year.
