CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- Graduation ceremonies are a celebration of completion. Whether it's the completion of high school, colleges, or other post-graduate degrees, it's a time families usually gather together to honor the person who finished their education.

However, in this time of COVID-19, graduation ceremonies have been postponed, suspended, delayed, or outright canceled.

  • Their name: Tell us who they are
  • The school from which they are graduating: High school, home school, or college-we want to honor them all!
  • Their upcoming plans: What college they are going to after high school, if they are going into the military, if they plan on going to a trade school, or if the career field in which they hope to get a job.

Next week, CBS19 will do an on-air graduation ceremony. How big our on-air ceremony will be depends on you. Details on where you can watch it will be announced later this week.

By uploading pictures & information to our Facebook page, you will be giving us permission to use those pictures on-air and online through all our CBS19 platforms. We thank you for giving us the chance to honor those in our area who worked so hard to finish their schooling.
