CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 SPORTS) -- Virginia could open their season at Disney World after reports ESPN will move eight of their early season events to Orlando, including the Wooden Legacy.

ESPN reported on Tuesday the Champions Classic, Charleston Classic, Myrtle Beach Invitational, NIT Season Tip-Off, Wooden Legacy, Orlando Invitational, Jimmy V Classic and Diamond Head Classic are all expected to move to the ESPN Wide World of Sports property to open the season.

The early season events would start on Nov. 25, the new start date for the college basketball season, and would run for the season's first two weeks. ESPN reports no new teams are being recruited for the events and the original scheduled teams are expected to play. Reports also say there is the potential for crossover games where teams would play opponents in different events.

UVA is one of four teams originally scheduled for the Wooden Legacy along with Kansas, Georgetown and UCLA.
