FLUVANNA COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- The seventh annual Fluvanna County fair is almost here.

After being canceled due to COVID-19 last year, Fluvanna County is welcoming people back to the fairgrounds.

This year's event will feature 4-H shows, live music, a rodeo and its first-ever beer garden. The fair runs from Aug. 19 to the 21.

Fluvanna County Director of Parks and Recreation Aaron Spitzer hopes the fair is accessible to all this year.

"It's their time to ride a ride with their parents if they might be shy or intimidated to get on a ride with a lot of people around," he said. "So this is like a special time for them to  enjoy the carnival atmosphere at their pace."
