Boars Head preparing for Winter Wander Trail of Lights

ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- The Boar's Head Resort is going to hold a Winter Wander Trail of Lights starting in November.
On Tuesday, the resort announced the start of public sales for the event, which will be held on select nights between Nov. 26 and Jan. 30.
According to a release, the Winter Wander will be taking place on the trail that circles almost half a mile around Heritage Lake behind the main hotel at the resort.
There will be festive lights illuminating the area and several experiences that will be along the trail.
“We’re excited to bring what we believe will become an annual holiday and winter tradition to the Charlottesville community,” said Russ Cronberg, general manager of Boar’s Head Resort. “Our goal is to provide a truly magical experience for every visitor through a variety of impressive attractions that will create plenty of memorable moments.”
The trail, which has an "easy rating" is designed for everyone to enjoy and large-wheeled strollers will even be able to handle the combined cinder and grass trail.
It will end with a nightcap at the Market inside the Hearth Lounge.
The release says vendors will be on hand to offer crafts and merchandise while guests can get snacks and drinks.
There will also be several outdoor fire pits outside the Market.
Tickets will be available at two price levels. Prime dates will begin Nov. 26 with tickets costing $20 for adults and $15 for children between four and 12 years old.
Value dates will begin on Dec. 2, with tickets costing $15 for adults and $10 for children.
Children that are three or younger will get a complimentary admission ticket.
People wishing to attend are encouraged to buy tickets ahead of time as dates are expected to sell out and buying tickets on the same day will be more expensive.
