BMW of Charlottesville acquired by Flow Automotive
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- A Charlottesville-area dealership has been acquired by a company headquartered in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.
According to a release, Flow Automotive Companies, a family-owned automotive retail and service company, has bought the BMW of Charlottesville, which is located on Richmond Road.
The dealership had been owned by Asbury Automotive Group and team members from that company will be remaining on the job.
Flow has 44 dealerships in North Carolina and Virginia, which represent 21 manufacturers, as well as four collision repair centers.
The release says, as of Sept. 13, management has changed at the Charlottesville dealership.
Flow also owns dealerships in the Charlottesville area that sell Audi, Mazda, Volkswagen and Porsche vehicles.
