ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- On Sept. 30, King Family Vineyards in Crozet will team up with Don Mann and Terrain Adventure Racing to host "A Night with the Kings."

The event aims to raise money for the national nonprofit SEALKIDS.

It will include wine tasting, dinner and dancing with all proceeds going toward educational programs and support for children of Navy SEALs.

The SEALKIDS organization is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year and Executive Director Gretchen McIntosh says that events and partnerships like these are essential in helping children and families of the naval special warfare community.

"Every dollar that comes in is another dollar that we can spend on tutoring or testing intervention," she said. "It's a big deal for SEAL kids. Last year, we served 311 children and we know that the need far outpaces our resources. So we're always looking for new partners in order to help us help more children.''

The event begins at 6 p.m. on Sept. 30. For more information on how to donate or RSVP, click here.
