ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- The Albemarle County Board of Supervisors will be holding a work session on stream health on Dec. 1.

According to a release, supervisors will be reviewing 14 proposals to improve stream health in the community.

The proposals were created using feedback and input from community stakeholders and working with technical experts from area organizations.

The proposals include regulations, incentives and voluntary opportunities, and monitoring/education partnerships.

This is the final stage of the Stream Health Initiative project, which started in 2017 and supports objectives from the county's Comprehensive Plan.

The supervisors' meeting will start at 1 p.m. with the work session expected to get underway around 1:40 p.m.
