CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va (CBS19 Sports) -- Brennan Armstrong has been named one of the top 10 finalists for the Manning Award, presented to the top quarterback in the nation.

The Manning Award takes into account the quarterback's bowl game performance in its decision.

Armstrong is up for three national quarterback awards, as a Manning Award finalist, Johnny Unitas Gold Arm Award finalist and Davey O'Brien semifinalist.

Three ACC quarterbacks are finalists for the Manning Award: Armstrong, Pittsburgh's Kenny Pickett and Wake Forest's Sam Hartman.

Armstrong has set UVA program records, including for total offense (4,700) and passing yards (4,449) this year, while also leading the country in yards per game of total offense (427.3).
