CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- The Charlottesville Police Department is investigating a shooting that sent two men to the hospital.

According to police, the incident occurred around 2:20 a.m. Sunday at the Fry’s Spring Beach Club.

Police say the men suffered non-life-threatening injuries and both are reportedly in stable condition.

Investigators recovered more than 100 cartridge casings in the area.

CPD has been told the club was hosting an event for an organization called Peace in the Streets at the time of the incident.
