CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- Former Vice President Mike Pence is set to speak at the University of Virginia on Tuesday.

The event is being hosted by Young Americans for Freedom, a conservative UVA student group.

Soon after Pence accepted the invitation, an editorial in The Cavalier Daily called for the invite to be rescinded.

Pence's speech will be titled, "How to Save America from the Woke Left."
