CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va (CBS19 Sports) -- The three Olympic medalists part of UVA women's swim are once again going international: qualifying for the 2022 World Championships in Budapest.

Kate Douglass, Alex Walsh and Emma Weyant all qualified to join Team USA's roster, set to compete this summer.

Walsh posted the fastest American record in the history of the 200 medley with a 2:07:84, winning the event and qualifying. She also made the team part of the 800 freestyle relay.

Douglass already made Team USA before the trials in the 100 butterfly and 400 freestyle relay. This weekend, she finished fifth in the 50 freestyle. Weyant qualified for the 400 medley, the event she won a silver medal in at the Tokyo Olympics.

Head coach Todd DeSorbo will join his three swimmers in Hungary, named the head coach for Team USA's women's team at the World Championship.

The FINA 2022 World Championship is set for June 18 - July 3.
