Corrections officials report COVID-19 outbreak at Dillwyn Correctional Center
RICHMOND, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- The Virginia Department of Corrections says visitation is currently suspended for several housing units at the Dillwyn Correctional Center.
According to a tweet, this is due to a COVID-19 outbreak. However, the VADOC’s coronavirus information webpage does not currently show how many cases of the virus have been reported in the facility at this time.
VADOC says in-person and video visitation is suspended for Housing Units 1A, 1B, 6A and 6B.

Visitation is also suspended at the Fluvanna Correctional Center for Women through May 24 due to an outbreak on Tuesday.
The most recent data shows there are 67 cases of the virus among the inmates at that facility.
