GREENE COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- The Greene County Sheriff’s Office says a man from Ruckersville has been arrested on drug charges associated with fentanyl.

According to the sheriff’s office, 28-year-old Jeremy Allen Tillman was arrested Tuesday on possession with the intent to distribute a Schedule I or II drug and possession of a firearm while intending to distribute a Schedule I or II drug.

The Greene County Sheriff’s Office Street Crimes Unit, the Jefferson Area Drug Enforcement Task Force, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency, and the U.S. Postal Inspection Services searched a home in the Ruckersville area.

As a result, officials seized about 11,000 fentanyl pills worth $120,000 on the street and several guns.

Tillman was taken to the Central Virginia Regional Jail on a secured bond.
