Stanardsville resident facing charges for an Orange County burglary
ORANGE COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) --A man from Greene County is facing charges for an incident that occurred in Barboursville.
According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office, 53-year-old Todd Keith Wells of Stanardsville has been arrested for a burglary at the Royal Market.
Deputies were called to the scene around 1:20 a.m. May 16.
When they arrived, they found the front door glass was broken and it looked like someone had gotten into the store.
Investigators collected evidence and say there were able to identify a suspect, Wells, within several hours.
Wells has been charged with petit larceny, possession of burglary tools, and breaking and entering with intent to commit larceny.
He is being held without bond at the Central Virginia Regional Jail.
