Mother and wife of car crash victims reflects on their legacy
ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- Just one week after a fatal car crash on Route 29 at Interstate 64, the mother and wife of the victims, Jakki Warrick, is speaking out.
Bryan Warrick and his five-year-old son Milo were traveling northbound on 29 when they were tragically killed in a crash involving a box truck.
Last week would have been Bryan and Jakki's 11th wedding anniversary and in the coming weeks, Milo would have celebrated his sixth birthday.
Jakki says their legacy will be their happiness.
“My husband and my son were two peas in a pod," she said. "It's hard to describe how happy they were and they will forever be remembered with a smile on their face and just full of laughter.”
A memorial fund has been set up on GoFundMe to assist the family. Click here for more information.
