ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- Members of the community can now review proposed learning resources for Albemarle County elementary students.

The Albemarle County School Board is considering two new books for elementary language arts and social studies.

The proposed books are on display on the third floor of the Albemarle County Office Building on McIntire Road through June 30.

People wanting to look at the books can do so between 8 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, except on school holidays. They should check in with the third-floor receptionist when they get there.

Following this public review period, ACPS staff members will consider feedback and make recommendations regarding the books at the July 14 meeting of the school board.
