CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va (CBS19 Sports) -- After opening its season on the road on Friday, the Tom Sox returned to Charlottesville for their home opener. The Covington Lumberjacks spoiled the homecoming, beating the Sox 9-2.

The Tom Sox scored both of their runs on fielding errors.

Leading 2-1, the Lumberjacks scored eight unanswered runs, including six in the top of the ninth inning.

The two teams face off again tomorrow, as the Tom Sox go on the road to Covington.
