Tom Sox explode late for first win of the season

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va (CBS19 Sports) -- After the Staunton Braves added six runs in one inning, the Tom Sox doubled down, adding 11 runs in a two-inning span to go on to the 13-8 win.
This was the Tom Sox's first win of the season, and the first win under new head coach Ramon Garza.
Julian Rojas led Charlottesville with four RBI while Kyle Edwards and Tyler Shelnut each added three runs.
The Tom Sox trailed 3-2 entering the fifth inning, when the Braves strung together two home runs with 6 total runs. The Tom Sox did the remainder of their damage in the bottom of the sixth and seventh innings.
The 1-3 Tom Sox travel to Staunton for a rematch on Wednesday, June 8.
