CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va (CBS19 Sports) -- Trailing for the majority of the game, the Tom Sox climbed back to overtake the Harrisonburg Turks in the bottom of the eighth inning to win 10-8.

Five runs from the Tom Sox in the eighth, including a two-run home run from John Newton, catapulted Charlottesville ahead.

The Turks opened with a 6-1 lead through five innings, including two solo home runs in the top of the fifth. The Tom Sox began to add on more with three in the bottom of the sixth inning.

On Sunday, the Tom Sox host the Purcellville Cannons for a double-header.
