CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 SPORTS) -- New Virginia women's basketball coach Amaka Agugua-Hamilton will make her debut on November 7 in a hoops doubleheader at John Paul Jones Arena.

The Cavaliers released the non-conference portion of their schedule for the 2022-23 season on Monday evening. The early season slate includes a total of 11 games with seven in Charlottesville at JPJ.

This year's schedule also includes a preseason exhibition against NCAA Division-II Pitt-Johnstown on Thursday, Nov. 3, which will be free to the public.

Coach Mox will make her official debut on Monday, No. 7 against George Washington. The women will play at 4 p.m. with the men's basketball team opening their season later that evening against North Carolina Central in a doubleheader.

Virginia's other home contests include UMBC (Nov. 10), Campbell (Nov. 23), Minnesota (Nov. 26), East Carolina (Nov. 27), UNCW (Dec. 4) and Morgan State (Dec. 18). The games against Minnesota and East Carolina will be a part of this year's Cavalier Classic.

The Wahoos will also travel to Loyola-Chicago (Nov. 16), American (Nov. 20), Penn State for the ACC/Big Ten Challenge (Nov. 30) and William & Mary (Dec. 7).

The full ACC schedule will be announced at a later date this fall.
