UPDATE: The Hanover County Sheriff's Office reports 22-year-old Christopher Nicholas Chivily has been arrested on multiple charges associated with a road rage incident earlier this month.

According to a release, he was found in Custer County, Montana.

He is facing multiple charges including attempted murder.

HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- The Hanover County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help to find a person wanted for attempted murder.

According to a release, a road rage incident occurred around 4 p.m. Sept. 5 in the area of Mountain Road and Overhill Lake Road.

Officials report shots were fired during the incident.

While investigating the incident, officials identified a suspect in the case, Christopher Nicholas Chivily.

He is facing charges of attempted murder, shooting from a vehicle, shooting at an occupied vehicle, possession of a firearm after being voluntarily committed, and vandalism. All of these charges except for the vandalism one are felonies.

The release says it is believed that Chivily is in the Goochland area.

He has a green 2003 Chevy Silverado with Virginia tags TZG-8575.

Officials say he is likely in possession of a firearm and should be considered armed and dangerous.
