CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 SPORTS) -- In a battle of highly-touted freshman pitchers, the Blue team once again powered their way to a second-straight win 6-1 in the Virginia baseball Orange & Blue World Series.

Lefty Bradley Hodges got the start for the Blue team, while righty Jack O'Connor start for the Orange. Both pitchers threw 3.1 innings with Hodges picking up the win while only allowing one hit and one run, O'Connor gave up two earned runs on four hits, striking out two batters.

Blue jump started their offense for the second-straight day with a home run, this time by Washington College grad transfer Chis Baker hitting one just over the right field fence. Freshman Luke Hanson followed up a couple batters later with an RBI-single to bring home Ethan O'Donnell for a 2-0 lead.

Five different players for the Blue team would hit RBIs with O'Donnell, Kyle Teel and Ethan Anderson joining Baker and Hanson. O'Donnell led the way with two hits and two stolen bases in his first two at-bats.
