CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- The University of Virginia Rotunda has been transformed into a “spooktacular” Halloween attraction for the second year in a row.

Local multimedia artist Jeff Dobrow and the Event Company teamed up to protect Halloween-theme images on the iconic building.

The idea all started because of the pandemic.

"People loved it so much that we continued it into a second year,” said Matt Weber. “We love it so much we bought shirts!”

“That's right and we have special nights going each and every night that are family-friendly with treats for the kids out here, we recommend everybody bring their kids," added Jody Kielbasa.

Monday night is the last night for the show, which will run from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
