CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- The first Dairy Market Beer Fest took place Saturday and it was a time full of community.

Located at the Dairy Market, the festival featured more than just beer, as it also had wine, snacks and cider from the Charlottesville Ale Trail.

Eleanor Vonachen, the general manager of Dairy Market, says this kind of event is important for the facility.

"We love community events here at Diary Market. So of course, we wanted to do that. And we decided together that it would be a really great event if were befitting Charlottesville Ale Trail, which is a local nonprofit,” she said.

A $50 ticket got attendees unlimited pours, along with a custom tasting glass and snacks. This event was packed with people from around the community.
