GREENE COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- A Greene County road will be closed off and on for the next couple of weeks.

The Virginia Department of Transportation says work will begin on Moore Road on Wednesday.

Crews will be installing storm sewer drainage near the intersection with Spotswood Trail.

Drivers will not be able to get onto Spotswood Trail in either direction starting Wednesday at 8 a.m. Closures will take place intermittently until 3 p.m. each day of the project.

Drivers will need to find alternate routes around the work and watch for crews near the intersection.

Weather permitting, the work should wrap up by Jan. 13.
