LOUISA COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- A man from Louisa County has been arrested on dozens of child pornography possession charges.
According to the Louisa County Sheriff’s Office, 51-year-old David Edward Stone of Mineral was arrested Wednesday.

Multiple digital media devices were seized during the search and then examined, resulting in a large number of files being identified as child sexual exploitation.

Stone is facing 50 charges of possession of child pornography and is being held at the Central Virginia Regional Jail.
WTVR also reports Stone has been placed on unpaid leave by RPD.
"The Richmond Police Department does not tolerate the abuse of children in any form and this officer will be held accountable for his actions," wrote the police department in a statement.
