Bradbury Cafe brings back Charlottesville favorite
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- Bradbury Cafe has brought back a Charlottesville menu favorite to make Fridays a little sweeter.
Spudnuts, a type of doughnut made from potato flour, are officially back on the menu at Bradbury Cafe, and they're worth spending a little extra time at the gym for.
Pastry chef Jason McKnown says that Bradbury brought back Spudnuts since they have been missing from the community for so long.
Making around 15 to 20 dozen a week, Bradbury is happy to bring back a Charlottesville favorite to the community.
"I think it's one of those things Charlottesville gathered behind a little bit, and people enjoy obviously, so you're welcome to come down and give them a try," added McKnown.
Bradbury asks that people limit their orders for Spudnuts to two dozen per order. Orders will be ready for pick up on Fridays at 8 a.m. and preorders end on Wednesdays.
