CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va (CBS19 NEWS) -- A big donation was made toward Bennett’s Village in Pen Park on Tuesday afternoon.

The all-inclusive playground was given $7,300 to help begin the first phase of building a tree house on the property.

The donation came from 100+ Women Who Care, a group with the goal to donate to local 501c3 nonprofits in the area. This time, it chose Bennett’s Village.

"This donation to Bennett's Village today, it’s just more evidence of how this community is coming together to support this incredible cause for our families and our kids for all children to be included. And we just love the way this community continues to come together," said Samantha Strong, a board member of Bennett’s Village.

The 100+ Women Who Care organization has been around since 2008 and has raised $376,000 for local organizations.
