National park looking to lease housing units

LURAY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- The Shenandoah National Park is looking to lease some housing.
According to a release, it is seeking a flexible mix of studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and/or three-or-more-bedroom units to house some employees between mid-April and mid-November.
Fully or partially furnished units are preferred along with full kitchens, bathrooms and living/dining spaces.
Kitchens need to have major appliances such as ranges, refrigerators and microwaves.
Lessors have to provide utilities like water sewer, heat, electricity and trash removal, and parking and facility maintenance.
Single-family homes need to include a washer and dryer while apartments or multi-plex units can have such units included or in a shared laundry facility that is accessible to all tenants.
Leased spaces will need to meet government requirements for fire safety, accessibility, seismic and sustainability standards as well.
The release says SNP is specifically looking for units in the areas of Front Royal, Luray, Stanley, Elkton and Harrisonburg.
Registration through a government system is required to lease to the park. Offers need to be submitted by March 22.
