UPDATE: Earlysville Road has reopened.

ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- An Albemarle County road will be closed for at least a couple of hours due to a crash involving a utility pole.

The Virginia Department of Transportation reports Earlysville Road is shut down at Ridgemont Road.

The road is expected to reopen in about two or three hours. 

Drivers are urged to avoid the area and take alternate routes.
