ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- Two people have been arrested on drug and firearm charges following a major drug bust in Albemarle County.

The Albemarle County Police Department says it was attempting to serve a warrant at a home on Cove Garden Road on Thursday.

At that time, officers reportedly saw evidence allowing for a search warrant for the home.

When the warrant was executed, officers found 502 marijuana plants, two firearms, 14 pounds of processed marijuana, and various processing and packaging materials used for drug distribution.

On Saturday, officers returned to that home, finding 39-year-old Julie Anne Moses there. She was arrested without incident.

A second person, 38-year-old William Raymond Moses, was then located on Sunday and also arrested.

Both have been charged with sale, gift, distribution or possession with intent to sell, give or distribute marijuana, possession of firearms while in possession of certain substances, and maintaining a fortified drug house.
