ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- On Wednesday, Flow Auto of Charlottesville opened its brand-new Audi facility in Pantops. The company used this opportunity as a way to bring attention, not only to itself, but to a local nonprofit with which it is partnering.

Flow Auto has collaborated with City of Promise, a local nonprofit that helps kids and adults find education and work, to host event. Jason Keranen, the general manager of Flow Auto, says the partnership shows how important the community is to the dealership.

"We want to be a place where if we were not in the community, we would not exist. And the great thing about City of Promise is we have an opportunity to touch young people in a place where they might not normally have the funds or the ability to do the things they need to do to get to where they need to go," he said.

Fundraisers included a big raffle for an outing at King Family Vineyards and other giveaways. All funds raised will go to City of Promise.
