CPD investigating stabbing outside Dairy Market
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- The Charlottesville Police Department says two people were hurt in an early morning stabbing in the parking lot at Dairy Market.
According to police, the incident occurred around 3 a.m. Friday on the 900 block of Grady Avenue.
When officers arrived, they made contact with two men, ages 42 and 27, who had suffered stab wounds.
Police say it was determined that the stabbing occurred after a minor traffic incident.
Both men were taken to the University of Virginia Medical Center for treatment of serious injuries.
At this time, there is no word on their conditions or regarding a suspect or suspects in this incident.
The investigation is ongoing and CPD is looking into possible video and witness statements.
