CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- The University of Virginia experienced a large power outage that affected its data centers, and resulted in a major network outage on Monday morning.
The university will be under normal operations on Monday and academic division classes will be held as scheduled.
Power has been restored, but base information technology systems such as inbound phone calls and applications that require NetBadge authentication, such as WorkDay, Collab, etc. remain down.
Phone access to the UVA Health System, and its clinics, is also impacted, besides Medcom and Poison Control. If there is any emergency, call 911.
Teams are working to restore access to network systems as quickly as possible.
