ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- Two juveniles have been arrested in connection with a carjacking that occurred almost a month ago.

The Albemarle County Police Department reports the incident occurred around 3:10 a.m. April 9 on the 1200 block of Blue Ridge Avenue in Crozet.

During the investigation, detectives arrested two juveniles, ages 13 and 14, who are now being held at the Blue Ridge Juvenile Detection Center.

The two teens are facing charges of carjacking, use or display of a firearm in the commission of a felony, and possession or transportation of certain firearms by persons under the age of 18.

This incident involved a Lyft driver who had picked up two people on the 600 block of Elizabeth Avenues in Charlottesville and taken them out to Crozet.

After they got to the western Albemarle County community, the suspects displayed a firearm and told the driver to get out.

The suspects then drove off in the vehicle.

The victim was not hurt.
