Center for Nonprofit Excellence undergoing leadership changes

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- The Center for Nonprofit Excellence is undergoing some changes at the top, with Christine Nardi set to step down as executive director and Nathan Walton assuming the post of new board chair.
“We are incredibly grateful to Cristine for her remarkable stewardship of CNE since becoming executive director in 2008, and appreciate that her skills, expertise, and deep experience with Virginia’s nonprofit sector will continue to inform CNE’s evolution as she transitions into a strategic advisor role,” said Walton, the co-lead pastor of East End Fellowship. “Our board members, along with staff and our search firm, are committed to ensuring a healthy and inclusive organizational transition that will lead CNE into the future.”
CNE has hired Koya Partners to assist in finding new leadership.
Founded in 2005, the Center for Nonprofit Excellence offers advice and resources to help nonprofits across Virginia succeed.
