DENVER, Co. (CBS19 SPORTS)-- Signed, sealed, delivered, Armaan Franklin is heading to the mile-high city for training camp this October.

The reigning NBA champs have signed Franklin to a training camp contract. Franklin won't be the only Cavalier vying for a spot on the Nuggets roster, joining the shooting guard will be NCAA champs Jay Huff and Braxton Key. Both Key and Huff signed two-way contracts with the Nuggets just two days ago.

Franklin has been spending his summer with the Nuggets G-League in Las Vegas. There, he was only able to play in 2 games due to injury, averaging just 3.5 points and 1.5 rebounds. But despite his lack of time on the court the Nuggets still see enough potential to bring him on for training camp. Franklin will have the opportunity to show Denver why he led UVA in scoring and garnered All-ACC tournament honors.

During his two seasons with the Cavaliers Franklin averaged 12.4 points, 41. assists and 1.4 rebounds per game, helping UVA to a share of the ACC regular season title.
