GREENE COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- The Greene County Sheriff’s Office is still searching for Jacob Fahlfeder.

“And I want him to know specifically for me that no matter what, I love him, and I just want him to come home," his sister Kayla Sisk said, wiping tears from her face.

Sisk knew something was wrong when Fahlfeder stopped showing up for work earlier this month.

"Nothing seems to make sense, based off Jacob as a person," she said.

On Friday, the 31-year-old's vehicle and phone were found at Lake Gordonsville -- or Bowlers Mill. But Fahlfeder was nowhere in sight.

"All the different scenarios that we run through, and that we bounce off of each other, and that we question, none of them seem to fit," she said.

The sheriff's office said it's deployed search teams, K-9s and drones.

"He's always been a really kind person, a really open person, accepting and willing to help people," Sisk said.

The family is waiting on law enforcement to review footage and phone records. In the meantime, Sisk is asking everyone to help bring Fahlfeder home.

"Check your dash cam or your Ring doorbells if you live in that area. Maybe, you know, somebody saw him somewhere, or saw his car somewhere," she said.

Fahlfeder has several tattoos: the word "Lyon" on his back, a black star on his left thigh and "4 all" on his knuckles.

Sisk created a Facebook group and a GoFundMe page.

Any information should be sent to the Greene County Sheriff’s Office.
