CHARLOTTESVILLE Va. (CBS19 SPORTS)-- UVA women's basketball has released their non-conference schedule for year two under Coach Mox. The 11 game non-conference slate includes 8 home games as well as a trip to the Grand Cayman.

After hosting Pitt Johnstown in an exhibition match one week prior the Cavaliers will officially kick off their season at home against Maryland-Eastern Shore. UVA will continue its home stand hosting Campbell and William & Mary until its headlining non-conference opponent Oklahoma comes to town on November 19th. UVA will face its first real test of the season against the Sooners as they were a 5-seed in last year's NCAA tournament, finishing the year with a 26-7 record.

As previously announced Virginia will travel to the Grand Cayman for the Cayman Island Classic Tournament over Thanksgiving weekend. While the matchups for the tournament have yet to be announced the lineup is loaded with talent. The tournament field features the 2023 NCAA National Champions LSU, ACC Tournament Champs Virginia Tech, UConn and more.

Virginia will return to the states for the inaugural ACC/SEC Challenge where they will face Missouri at JPJ. The Cavaliers one true road game is set in Philadelphia where they will take on LaSalle. UVA then rounds out their non-conference play at home again hosting Rider, Wofford and Fordham.

Dates for ACC contests, game times and TV designations for the entire 2023-24 schedule will be announced later.
