CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- An annual festival celebrating the Latinx community in the Charlottesville area is coming back and it will be bigger this year than previous years.

The 11th annual Cville Sabroso Festival will take place in Washington Park on Sept. 16.

This year’s event will involve music, dance and cultural displays as well as a kids' area with the Jefferson-Madison Regional Library’s bookmobile, face painting, and arts and crafts supplies.

“Cville Sabroso gives us a chance to celebrate where we come from, feel more at home, and share our traditions with the new family, friends and neighbors we have in our new homes in Charlottesville and Central Virginia,” said Edgar Lara of Sin Barreras, the organization that puts on the festival.

There will also be a new adult-only beer garden.

The 2023 festival will include performers representing El Salvador, Honduras, Panama, Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rico and Uruguay.

There will also be more food vendors on hand this year, including Antojitos Mexicanos, Arepas on Wheels, Chaparro Tacos, Guadalajara Restaurant, La Flor Michoacana, Marina del Delicia and Sabor Latino.
