FLUVANNA COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- The Fluvanna County Sheriff’s Office reports three people are facing drug and other charges following a search at a home last week.

According to the sheriff’s office, deputies and the Virginia State Police Tactical Team searched a home on the 4400 block of Ruritan Lake Road on Thursday as part of a long-term investigation.

Officials say the road was blocked for a time due to the need for multiple resources to secure the area and conduct the search.

The sheriff’s office says 34-year-old Kenneth Allen Walton, 37-year-old Melissa Gaily Dudley and 28-year-old Jessie Marie Cromer were all arrested.

Each is facing four counts of endangering the welfare of a child, one count of possession of a schedule I/II controlled substance, and one count of possession of a firearm while in possession of a schedule I/II controlled substance.

They are being held without bond at the Central Virginia Regional Jail.

Members of the Fluvanna County Department of Social Services and the Jefferson Area Drug Enforcement Task Force were also on the scene.
