The Forum Hotel launches partnership with Anthropologie
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- Kimpton The Forum Hotel, located on the Grounds of the University of Virginia Darden School of Business, has launched a partnership with women's clothing, accessory, and home decor brand Anthropologie to allow hotel guests to borrow accessories during their stay.
The partnership, which launched at the beginning of August, is available at 20 Kimpton hotels across the United States and is part of the "Forgot It, We've Got It!" program.
Guests can borrow Anthropologie accessories like sunglasses, purses and belts free of charge. If they like them, guests have the option to purchase them at a discounted rate.
"The program was designed to lighten the load of your carry-on. I mean, you take a weekend trip, there's usually items that get left behind. In my case, it's usually that extra purse I wish I had. So knowing that you have the ability to stop by the front desk and pick up a stylish piece that you didn't have to think about packing in your carry-on is a great benefit," said Kelly Brown, general manager of The Forum Hotel.
There will be a "winter refresh" later in the year when new accessories will be available.
The Anthropologie partnership will launch at more Kimpton hotels across the country, and some in the United Kingdom, at a later date.
