Rhoback releases UVA licensed shirt collection
CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- Charlottesville-based shirt company Rhoback is launching its new University of Virginia-licensed collection as students return to Grounds.
Founders and UVA Darden School of Business alumni Matt and Kristina Loftus started Rhoback in 2017, when they realized there was a market for bright-colored, lightweight polos.
With an entrepreneurial mindset and help from Darden's resources and mentors, they started the shirt company.
“We're so excited to launch our UVA Rhoback officially licensed, gear today. We came out with three performance print polos to start. We're already selling them like crazy. They're getting a lot of hits, but we're really excited about this collection," said Loftus.
Some school spirit items that are now available on the company's website include polos named "The Cavalier," “The V-Sabre," and "The Virginia Gameday."
