CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- The Charlottesville Police Department is asking for help to find multiple people in connection with an aggravated assault.

According to police, it is believed the unidentified people may have information about an assault that occurred during the early morning hours of Aug. 5 on the 400 block of Fourth Street NW.

As a result of the incident, the victim suffered serious injuries.

Police say the incident may have started at another location near the west end of the Downtown Mall.
